Currently, I am Membership Vice President of DUNAA. While in this position, I have redesigned our membership materials as well as brought attention to our rich heritage in celebrating our 85th year as a National Alumni Association. I am currently the president of Magnolia (Jackson, MS) chapter of Dillard University Alumni Association where we have been providing leadership and fellowship opportunities with our future alumni.
I have received the Dillard University Ada Green Award for Recruiting 2016. I personally recruited students, speaking at various schools and obtaining a mass amount of applications in the process.
I have held the position of Section 45 Chairperson for Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity; being the first African American Female to hold this title.
I am a member of the Z-HOPE team for Alpha Delta Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
In my spare time I organize and coordinate my church youth activities as its Youth Chairperson.
Special Skills: Teaching, Leadership, Event Planning, Team Building, Community Outreach
Why I wish to serve: In choosing me for your next DUNAA President, you are choosing someone who has shown that she is Dillard Proud, Blue Devil Strong! I’ve shown this in everything from helping to recruit students, to donating crowns for Miss UNCF and Miss Pre-Alumni Council to inaugurating a food and fellowship program with our student groups who visit the Jackson, MS area (i.e. Men’s and Women’s basketball teams and the Pre Law Program). I campaign for the DUNAA Presidency because I want to continue building capacity in this organization to help students achieve their dreams. As President, I want to lead DUNAA in having a stronger voice with university administration and a stronger presence on campus. As President, I want to lead the charge in DUNAA getting involved so that our future alumni will thrive because of their Dillard experience as we have from ours.
